The final major of the year is on our doorstep.  There are a lot of interesting storylines heading into this tournament.  A few that I'm looking forward to seeing play out are:

• Can Jordan Spieth become one of only a select few that have won 3 majors in the same year?  I truly hope he can.  If he were to win, it would certainly be the most impressive calendar year of golf in history
• Can Rory McIlroy return after his ankle injury?  He hasn't played in about 2 months due to the injury while playing soccer with friends.  I'm sure he will be rusty but I would never rule him out.
• Will Ricky Fowler or Dustin Johnson finally break through?  They both have been on the verge of winning a major for the last few seasons.  I like their chances.
• Will Tiger Woods make the cut?  Will he compete?  Will he earn enough points to make it into the FedEx Cup Playoffs?  There never have been more questions surrounding Tiger than right now.  As someone who works in the golf industry, I can honestly say I hope he returns to form.  No one moves the needle as much as Tiger.
• Will someone who isn't a household name win?  The PGA Championship is famous for "no name" players winning.  Whistling Straights is a great test of golf so this could be difficult.
